How to Choose Pearl Color

One of our favorite things about freshwater pearls is the variety of colors in which they are available. So how do you choose the best color for you? Here are some guidelines to consider.

1. What is your skin color? If you have pale skin, pink or peach colored pearls will make you look tan. If you have olive-toned skin, pearls with yellow, green or brown undertones work best. For those with pink skin, blues and whites will look best on you.
2. What color are your eyes? Match pearls to the color of your eyes. Blue pearls will make blue eyes truly sparkle and tie the whole look together. Moss green pearls look fabulous with green, hazel, and brown eyes.
3. What color clothing do you wear most often? If you wear a lot of blacks and grays blue pearls will be a great complement. For those who wear warm tones, champagne colored pearls are a good choice. Of course, white pearls always look fabulous no matter what color you’re wearing!
